Building the Church

“On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18). We know that the “church” is made up of people and not bricks and beams and windows, but it is our goal at Compassion International Ministries to raise enough money to build a proper place of meeting so that the people and communities that we serve would be able to come together comfortably. As the numbers continue to grow because of the good news and because of the testimonies of miracles, signs, wonders and transformations… the temporary places that we are currently in are not able to hold all of the people who come looking for a touch from the Lord and even the overflow is full at times. The local church is a place for the ministry of the word, preaching, teaching, worship, prayer, fellowship and a dedicated place to serve one another in love and we need a structure that can accommodate the rapidly growing flock the the Lord has given us.
